About
Built for the way refinery inspection actually works.
CoreInsp is workforce infrastructure for the refinery and petrochemical inspection industry. The system of record for who’s qualified, who’s available, and where they’ve worked. We’re replacing the spreadsheets, group texts, and glove-box paperwork this industry runs on.
The platform is built by someone in NDT inspection, not by outsiders trying to map generic HR software onto a specialty trade. Schedules for hundreds of inspectors get managed in Excel today. Credentials get re-proved at every gate. Date shifts take half a day to cross-reference. There is no purpose-built software for this — because outsiders don’t speak the language. We do.
Each piece ships before the next begins. Real users earn the right to drive what gets built next.
What’s live today
Directory of inspection companies
Verified company profiles with categories, capabilities, and specialty experience. Region search across the Gulf Coast, map view, claim flow, and bulk CSV import.
Inspector profiles and credential wallet
Self-reported, worker-owned. Pick certifications from a curated taxonomy. Optional issue date, expiration date, and a photo of the card. The wallet travels with the inspector between employers.
Two-board job marketplace
Inspectors board (API / CWI / NACE) and NDT board (UT / PAUT / RT / MT / PT / ET). Workers express interest; employers review and hire. Qualified-for-you filter shows only jobs you have credentials for. Bookmark favorites.
Hire flow with worker acceptance
Employers offer; workers accept or decline. On accept, the dates land on the inspector's calendar automatically. Pay rate and per diem from the offer are shared with the worker as the contract terms; each side keeps their own private record.
Worker availability calendar
Available, Unavailable, and Tentative blocks. Per-assignment colors so overlapping jobs read as visually distinct. Subscribe-by-URL .ics feed so Apple Calendar / Google Calendar stay in sync.
Workforce schedule (Phase 6 prep)
Six-month Gantt of all your active hires across owned companies. Per-job crew schedule with Day / Night / Unspecified shift tabs. Date-shift proposals: when a turnaround pushes, propose new dates and the inspector accepts in one click.
Cross-employer privacy
One employer never sees another employer's deal with the same worker. Workers always see who currently has access to their profile and what kind. Hidden mode lets a worker show qualifications without their name.
Audit log + email notifications
Every meaningful action — claims, reports, hires, accepts, declines, cancellations, date shifts — is recorded in an append-only log. Both sides get email at every transition.

What CoreInsp is, and isn’t
CoreInsp is a software platform — a marketplace that connects inspection workers with inspection companies. CoreInsp is not a staffing agency. We don’t employ inspectors, we don’t pay inspectors, and we don’t act as employer of record.
Workers contract directly with employers. Inspectors choose the jobs they want, set their own availability, and negotiate their own terms. The platform surfaces options; it doesn’t assign work or supervise it. That distinction matters legally and structurally — and it’s baked into every feature, from “express interest” instead of “apply,” to worker-owned credentials, to calendar privacy that the platform never overrides.
